Wattup peoples! Just got back from Sundance last week since my short film, DJ:LA, was screening at Slamdance during the same time in Park City. Saw some cool movies and attended some insane parties, now I finally get to give you some treats.
Two documentaries that caught my Hip Hop eyes were THE CARTER and TWO TURNTABLES AND A MICROPHONE: JAM MASTER JAY DOCUMENTARY. Trailers are below. Couldn’t make it out to either since one was a midnight showing (I was out getting crunk) and one was screening at 50 Cent’s house (too far away from my condo). So I’m hoping these get wide release or at least get some TV airplay.
Other films to watch for from the festival, BLACK DYNAMITE, A WINNING SEASON, and SIN NOMBRE. Much more, but wouldn’t want to clog up this post. Enjoy it, peace =)
