Podcast Vol. 13 - Yacht Rock Steady by Siik & LinoType
Right on schedule, it is yet another Come Up Podcast. This edition features the return of Siik and LinoType on the airwaves. Siik comes through with some 80’s electro flavor, in the Paul Hardcastle and Strafe side of things. He also realizes there are some train wrecks in there, but felt it best to leave them in. Lino ventures the high seas with his first yacht rock mix. He’d be remiss without acknowledging the following influences: the highly entertaining web series on Channel 101, Yacht Rock; and an extremely helpful thread on the message boards of okayplayer.com. yoooo…kevin here, damn i missed this when it first came out. i’ve been the lagger lately. i THINK i’m the kevin siik shouted out (the flaker on the portland wedding, my bad on that again, but i’m still holding out the rain check for another party SOON), dope mixes YET again. another reason to get my ipod in my car ASAP (yeah damn, i still don’t have that set up yet). i used to make my own mixes, before i heard of y’all, and know i follow the leaders!
damn, that music takes me back….to days my dad would play stuff on the radio on road trips, Captain and Tenillle shieeet! Somehow you got my dad’s shit to sound hip, NO easy feat
Every body remembers that our life seems to be expensive, however people need money for different issues and not every man earns enough cash. Thence to receive some loan or collateral loan would be a correct solution.
